A little balloon history for you - We celebrate the balloon arches birthday on Thursday, July 6th. The brilliant mind behind the arch, Treb Heining had played around with connecting 4 balloons together on previous occasions but never made something like the arch before. He was brought on for a special birthday party and later found out it was for Cher’s son. He knew he had to go all out. His team covered the tennis court in balloons with two long garlands. He felt like something was missing and he had some spare time before the party started. So they connected the two garlands with a garland filled with helium which gave it an arch. In 1979, the balloon arch was born. AKA, the reason why I am able to do what I do and love what I do.
